ETC is introducing three new and interesting shows in the Month of June

Since search for a perfect life has always been man's quest, Writer Kamini Khanna and Spiritual Healer & Vastu consultant Shankar Bable will anchor Gagar Main Sagar. The show will deal with and explore the much talked about and popularly practiced subjects like Feng Shui, Vaastu Shastra, Crystal Therapy, Medical Astrology, Pyramid Therapy, Acupressure, Tarrot Card, Signature analyses and Acupuncture. The programme will also educate the viewers about the significance and reality of Totka (casting spells).

Besides explaining the particular art and its implementations this half an hour programme will also inform the viewers about the relevant product required for the remedy.

Economic analyst with Khanwal Securities turned actress Amisha Patel took to films because, “I wanted to do something that used mind and heart both, not only mind.” And she has never regretted her decision.

Now she has “very high hopes” from her forthcoming film Hamraaj. As she says, “It is a superb film. It has mystery and passion both. In fact this is very rare film where the entire three-hour script was given before the film took off. So I could get into the story and character.” Amisha is pitted against Bobby Deol and Akshay Khanna with touches of negative shades to her character.

Neeraja & Supraja are sisters and their only brother is Surya. They are the children of Vittal Prasad and Radha.
Neeraja is in love with Kamal for 6 years and their marriage has been fixed. At the time of tieing Mangalsutra, Kamal suddenly refuses to do so. Neeraja faints and Kamal leaves the scene. His brother Suman goes after him.
Everyone is shocked that even after getting consent from both the families, why the marriage was stalled. Kamal’s father Rajendra Prasad enquires and learns from Kamal that he is already married and she is pregnant. Meanwhile Neeraja out of frustration tries to commit suicide but she was saved. Kamal reveals Neeraja that he is already married. Supraja asks her sister Neeraja to forget Kamal and marry Ramakrishna. But Neeraja refuses this proposal. Suman, Kamal’s brother finds out the name of the wife of Kamal which sends shockwaves. Kamal’s wife is none other than Supraja, younger sister of Neeraja. Seshagiri, an uncle of Neeraja, a bad character who is out to destroy her family also comes to know the truth. Vittal Prasad warns Supraja not to reveal the truth to Neeraja, but some how Neeraja comes to know of it. She decides to take revenge on Supraja and begins to torture her own sister. As her father’s health condition worsens, Neeraja decides to let things pass and unites Kamal and Supraja.
Meanwhile Supraja plays the ‘Pregnancy drama’ but it tragically ends into an operation and Doctor’s report that Supraja will not conceive again. Supraja’s mother commits suicide and in her note left to Neeraja, it was revealed that Neeraja is their adopted child and requests Neeraja to ensure that Supraja should live happily.
Neeraja decides to fulfil her mother’s last wish become the surrogate mother for Supraja, but Supraja suspects Neeraja’s motive and the rift in the family further widens. Neeraja delivers twins. She keeps one child in memory of Kamal and gives the other to Supraja. Out of hate for her sister Supraja brings up her child as a bad character while Neeraja’s child is grown as a good character.
Supraja meets her end in the ensuing conflict and Neeraja and Kamal come together.

A women-oriented social drama. Chatushkon is the inter-dynamics between 4 women of a Gujarati family. The family tree goes as below.

Mr. Sampat and his son die in an accident and Ms. Sampat takes charge of the family business and household. However the other 3 women of the family - the spinster sister-in-law, widow daughter-in-law and young daughter-all are strong individuals with different identities. While the matriarch of the family wants the family to be united and together, the rival business family makes all the attempts to disrupt their lives prompted mainly by a hurting past - Mr. Sampat's sister was in love with one of the members of the rival family and had to break-off on account of Mr. Sampat's disapproval.
However this is not all-there is also a mystery surrounding the deaths of the two Sampat males. Was it an accident or murder?- The big question haunts the family. A parallel track reveals that the eldest son who had eloped as a child is to return to the family after decades. Who of the three claimants is the real son? How does his entry affect a woman-dominated household? How long will Mrs.Sampat have her hold on the lives of others? Will the matriarch be able to hold the family-to-gather in face of conflicting, diverse pulls from different directions?

DE TALI
This is a comedy involving two neighbours - Mail who is a Writer & other is Vanmali who is a Doctor. The other characters in the serial include their two wives & the doctor's compounder. Each episode deals with a plot; though small but potent enough to create humour in the lives of these otherwise simple people. For e.g., a thief breaks into the house of the writer only to find out that the house is full of papers, which are non-revenue generating. While leaving the house he advices the writer to put a sign board outside his house saying it is a writer's residence so that prospective thieves get dissuaded & do not go through all the trouble of breaking in. Ironically the thief gives the writer 50 Rs before leaving so that his suggestion for the board is carried out without fail.
Each story plot has some poignant, emotional message to it though humour emerges on the forefront. The emotional ironies & social problems are underlined in the other wise obvious comedy situations.
